AP COURSES – COURSE CATALOG

AP courses are only open to grades 11 and 12 and are administered as a preparation for the college AP exam.  These courses are graded on the 5.0 scale and require co-enrollment in an AP study hall class to be able to create study teams.  These courses have extensive summer, fall break, winter break, and spring break assignments with no limits on homework.

DESCRIPTION: SEMESTER 1 COLLEGE SKILLS: This course is designed to walk students through how to select the correct college for after high school success and how to maneuver everything needed to get in and go to college. This course covers everything from student aid, scholarships, SAT, and how to choose a college path. SEMESTER 2 SAT / ACT TEST PREP: This course is designed to help students prepare for college entrance exams including the SAT and the ACT.  The goal of this course is to appropriately prepare high school students for success in college and in life.
