Working on a production at a young age helps build a strong actor in high school. Junior High Playhouse is an after school course that helps to specifically develop advanced junior high actors.
On a campus where actors are served grades 7 – 12, it is important that young actors have specific focus from the instructors to be able to hone in on acting techniques and expertise that needs to be mastered in grades 7 and 8. Junior High Playhouse also hosts one full length production every year where only junior high students are allowed to participate.
Some of the past performances include: Your a Good Man Charlie Brown, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, High School Musical, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Annie, and this year Cinderella.
