Track A – New Students
*NEW FOR THE 2019/2020 SCHOOL YEAR!
With the new enrollment season starting in January, Encore is setting up exactly how students will track their enrollment for the next school year. New students will no longer be required to complete an assessment or audition to join the beginning “A” track enrollment. All students that are not placed in a conservatory will automatically be placed in TRACK A Enrollment.
What is TRACK A?
Track A’s school day starts at 9:00 am every day and concludes at 3:07 pm.
Students enrolled in Track A have six classes within their scheduling block, three each day.
Students will have a variety of non conservatory level courses to participate in to satisfy their appreciation for arts.
Students enrolled in non conservatory level courses complete arts work, but do not participate in class assignments related to after school performances or showcases.
An arts open house will take part during the school day during the month of May for parents to see what their students have been working on.
There are no audition requirements to enter Encore High School for the Arts on Track A assignments.
Students that are Track A that take part in the free transportation will arrive at school at 7:25 am. Areas for study hall will be made available for students arriving early. Limited space will be available.
